The Fadering custom buffalo horn pick is a great solo pick, especially suited to players hitting the strings hard and/or guitarists playing with heavy string gauges. With a gently sloped inner recess and a thicker, rounded edge profile the Fadering allows very precise picking without being 'unforgiving'. The inner recess helps the fingers maintain a perfect position and prevents the pick from rotating while playing. Many players find this design well suited for sweep-picking with it's rounded edge being fast of the strings while still maintaining great attack dynamics. On acoustics, archtops and piezo systems the unique tortoise shell like warmth and overtones are especially perceptible and on electric guitar speedy licks and pinch harmonics come easily.
